Hello everyone I need some help I have a 94 ranger that I am building that has solid axles out of an 73 bronco and has 513 gears in it and 42 " tires and a four link suspension and I'm doing a 351 w engine swap to put in my ranger. The driveline that I am putting in my ranger came out of the full size 89 bronco with a 351 W and a AOD automatic transmission. I want to stay automatic and it needs a rebuild my question is I want to make around 400 to 500 hp and I'm wondering if that transmission will hold up or should I change it to a C6 are a different transmission any help would be great

If you've got the pockets to build a 500 horse 351w then you have to pockets to beef up the AOD. You want overdrive with the 5.13s, my buddy drives a 95 F250 with 5.13s, 44s and no overdrive, its tached out doing 70.

Yeah I was wanting to stay with that AOD overdrive and build it up but I've heard mixed things about them so I figured I would come on here and ask everybody. Also two on Ward about my Clarence on my frame rails for my T case, hopefully it will fit to

Probably not. Would be a 1356 or 1345, both are pretty big. People have made them work but I could barely squeeze a 208 in
