Best Tire For Your Money

I have a 1997 Ranger XLT 4WD V6 4.0L. Im gonna be needing new tires in the near future and I think I want to go bigger. I have the stock tires on there which I believe are 27". I wanted to ask you guys what size you think I should get. I want my truck to look BIG. I know its only a Ranger but I dont want to spend money on things and it not even be noticeable. Im pretty much set that im gonna be getting a body lift but I dont know about suspension lift. They are just so much and I wanted to get your guy's feedback on what is the biggest I should/can go without loosing substantial amounts of power or having to change gearing. I drive mostly on the road with an occasional off roading, but these bigger tires and lift are to make my truck pretty much look cool.

im running a 4.0 and after stepping up to 33's there was not a major amount of power loss .. fits well with a 3" body lift

Anything Nexen! I've had them on a rice'd out, lowered '94 Integra as well as my Ranger and they do their job well: (Stick to the ground).

I roll, N5000's on 16' rims, but any nexen rubber you find will be affordable and of good quality!

Cooper Discoverer ST... I'm about to get 5 in a 235/85-16 size (roughly 32" tall)... I've heard nothing but great reviews about them and they are the least expensive that I can get locally...
