best locking hubs 1989-1996 tired of breaking them

I have a 1992 ranger 4.0 and I was wondering what hubs where the best I have the avm hubs but a keep breaking them

How exactly are you breaking them? Different brands have different strong and weak points.

If you are hitting things on the trails or overloading them and breaking the case, then the Warn Jeep hubs are the way to go.

If you have auto hubs, just ditch them all together.

Also, you want hubs from 90 to 97. 89 will have a dana 28, those hubs won't fit your truck. 97 still had the TTB 35, so those will still fit.

They are manual avm hubs and I'm not breaking them by hitting them if the wheel gets in a little bit of a strain the hubs just bust apart

Oh, those buggers. I'm actually not a fan of them. They can corrode together making them hard to remove and reinstall for brake rotor or wheel bearing service.

I'd go with the Warn Jeep units, they are direct replacement for the OEM Ranger Dana 35 hubs, but there is really nothing you should be able to do with a Ranger that will break them.

Definitely the jeep hubs. Don't waste your time on the avm or any of the cheap ones.
