Im looking to replace the exhaust from the cat back. I have been looking at some complete kits with a new muffler and am curious to what muffler sounds good. Is it better to buy individual pieces and get a better muffler or the package.

Thanx !!!

individual picies will be cheaper it also gives you the ability to choose the muffler

im buying the pieces for my new exhaust and its WAYYYY cheaper to do your own setup rather than buy a kit. its actually not that hard to make up your own exhaust and even if you dont have a welder a muffler shop shouldn't charge you more than $50 bucks to throw on a few welds. hell, you might even be able to get it welded for free if you talk to your local community college's welding program.

id hit up a local exhaust shop. try to find a small ma-and-pop place if you can as they will give you the best deal. you can usually get a complete system i9nstalled with your choice of muffler for a heck of a lot cheaper than buying a bolt-in kit.

ive had good luck with glasspacks and flowmaster 40 and 50s
