Hi,
just asking for what clutch kit comes better to my needs.

My RBV is a 1984 BroncoII, it has the factory 2.8L (cam & headers) , 4.56 gears and 32" or sometimes 33" tires, and it is used for off-road: mud, rocks, hills, anything.

Would do you think which is better and last longer for off-road? Dual Friction, or Centerforce II?

Any suggestions welcome.

Thanks in advance and happy New Year for all!

Pick your poison....I have a Dual Friction in my truck, and it works fine. Im happy with it. Mines a 4.0, and with a different size clutch (10 inch), but its the best info I can give you. Dont expect either to be a huge upgrade from the factory luk clutch. With 33s and 3.73s, the DF seems to grip better and not slip as much on takeoff as the original clutch did. The previous owner replaced the clutch before me and Im not sure what brand they replaced it with, so that could be the difference. The factory luk clutches are sufficient in most cases and is what I used in the exploder...

I've read people frying the dual friction while out wheelin' when your always wanting it to slip just the right amount to get over an obstical.....basically the DF doesn't wanna slip. I went with a Spec stage 2 and its grabby enough, yet it slips just the right amount and mine has 25k on it and multiple wheelin' trips on it and works flawlessly still.

Ok, I will look for the Luk and CF II, check the costs, and pick one of the two.

Thankyou!
