reinstall my emblems?? i took them off awhile back to paint them black. now its time to put them on, but the back isnt flat, its raised along with the emblem, so theres kinda a recess in them from the back side. i was thinking that black 3m emblem adhesive, but wasnt really sure if its good or not. i dont want anything that expands and will creep out from the edges of them

3M Double sided tape should work just fine

I used 3M double sided tape for my emblems, and after 75 mph and 2 hrs of straight driving, they are still there

Double sided tape won't work well on the b2 emblems. The way the horse is and the "bronco ii" is cut out like the 2000 ranger emblem is, would be a real pita to cut it out

It can be a PITA, but if you do it once and use 3M, you will only have to do it once :icon_thumby:

Leave them off! I am wanting to take mine off. What did you use to take them off. Mine are already black (my friend painted them before I got it) and I like clean look with nothing hangin off the side that isn't needed (like the mirrorr)

fishing line(i think 8 lb test), put some gloves on, wrapped it around my hands a couple of time, put it behind the lip of the emblem. then see sawed it back in forth pulling towards the rear of the vehicle. then got the rest off with denatured alcohol

I'm not an outdoorsman at all, so I found floss (very weak), but luckily mine weren't put on with anything really sticky. All I took off the was the lettering and left the horse on the side, but even that will come off when i get the paint job and I'm just gonna put on a decal with bronco ii

I actually used the double sided 3M Foam emblem mounting tape to seal my sunroof frame to the roof.

That adhesive is the very devil to get off.

and because it's on foam it comforms to unever serfaces.

3m has a press and seal emblem adhesive that works great for emblems like yours. i cant remember the part number but if i find it or remember ill post up here
