bent i beam?

passenger side axial is cutting into passenger side i beam of my dana 35. this front end has been in 3 trucks and has been like this for years. i am just now getting around to thinking of a way of fixing it. could i use spacers on the radius arm to push the front end forward a little? or should i replace which beam?

No idea what's wrong there, besides the obvious, and that probably makes a horrible screeching sound when you're in 4x...

But if you space the radius arm (you likely won't get enough out of it anyway) you'll have to get an alignment and it'll probably never come back right since one wheel will be ahead of the other no matter what. Probably is a bent beam.

Replace the drivers side. Had the same problem myself, drivers side beam is bent. Did you hit something? I crashed into a stump hard right around the pumpkin. axle shaft rubbed on pass beam after that. Replaced, all better now.

Pushed-in driverside beam would definitely do that no doubt...

Have you made sure there's no other issues like a bent frame or radius arm? Wheelbase the same on both sides? (within half-inch)
