ideas on where to look, what to measure to know what i need to replace? the right spring is bowed out to the front of the truck and the left spring is nice and straight.

it wasn't like this when i put the the lift in a couple of years ago.

i have pics in my album, cannot post them in my messages

Judging by the photos it is hard to tell. I am assuming the part bowing outward is towards the front of the truck?

If so I can't see a bent radius arm causing this... it would be bowing the other direction. Have you checked the radius arm bushings to see if one has rotted away?

it is towards the front, i thought radius arm bushings so i replaced them. it didn't change anything. i can't see any visible signs of anything bent, this is what is confusing me.

Judging by the photos ...

:icon_confused: Where are these photos?

Have you checked that the coils are seated correctly in the upper coil mounts? (there's like a little pocket for the end of the coil winding to sit in, if it's out of the pocket, it'll sit crooked)

photos are in my album. i did check the spring seat, even took the shock loose and reseated the spring to make sure.

i found the probelm, i did some more checking when doing an oil change the other day.

the drop bracket for the right hand axle is bent toward the rear.... i am now looking for a better option for brackets and springs to use instead of the tough country ones i have now.

Is that a ranger with a Mounaineer front clip? or the other way around? Either way that sure makes for a cool lookin truck...I've never seen that before nice job :icon_thumby:
