Belltech 6400 Shackle Install on a 91 Ranger

We just always have 9/16" grade 8 bolts the right length in stock for this....much cheaper than the ford bolts.

Well then if it isn't the opening scene to the dealership movie, Parts vs. Service: The eternal struggle:icon_twisted:

LOL. Nuff said.

I just installed these shackles in the back of my B2R project. I had to drill out the metal sleeve in the shackle and enlarge the bolt holes for the spring to use the factory bolts. Has nobody else ran into this or is it just not mentioned?

i havent heard this mentioned any where else, interesting. ill bring home some new 14mm bolts and see if they fit through the bushings in my belltechs.

No, I didn't run into that at all. I had to give them a few little taps with the hammer but they were just a little tight, no drilling req'd.
