bellhouing swaps

i have an 86 v6 4x4 5spd and i want to put a 2.3 turbo in it. my question is would an 86 4cyl bellhouing bolt on to the v6 trans? it seems that no one has a def. answer. would any 4cyl engine mounts bolt in the frame? please help

Depends on what transmission you have.

An '85-87 manual trans? yeah the bellhousings are freely interchangeable.

Motor mounts?

The hard part is the frame bracket for a 4cyl 4x4.

The 2wd 4cyl frame brackets are NOT the same.
