FYI I installed a bell tech drop kit sometime ago, just finished a 302 engine swap, I elected to use the 6 qt oil pan, if you leave the stock ride height you wont have any clearance issues, with the bell tech I did have a problem, I actually had the engine in and out 6 times before I found that particular problem. 6 times you say, measure 2 drill once, anyway had to grind the top rear edge of the right ibeam where it passed the oil pan.
