A recent study found the average American walks about 900 miles per
Year.
Another study found Americans drink, on average, 22 gallons of beer a
Year.
That means, on average, Americans get about 41 miles to the gallon.
Kind of makes you proud to be an American.
And it really makes me want to figure out my beer mileage...lol
Some rough calculations and I'm around 17.6 miles per gallon, using the arbitrary mileage figure since I have no clue how much I walk in a year. Damn, that's the same sort of fuel economy as around-town in my trucks!
(I found this old post collecting dust on another forum, I had posted it when I was in college living in a frat party house, lol. I'm sure my mileage has improved now.
