been looking at cheap old school cars

I'd SVO the pinto

I have a 67 Fairlane myself and when i got it, it was stock 289 and did pretty well with the gas miliage. Of course it didnt stay that way long. If you like pickups and a daily driver. Look for a 67 ranchero, it looks like a Fairlane in front and they are dirt cheap. Throw a fuel injection motor in it, and aod transmission and you got a sweet daily driver that can haul. When your looking at classic fords as DDs you gotta use your imagination. As stock they might not be that great but with some modern tech, you can go a long way.

....if you find a LTD II/Thunderbird of the 77-79 Vintage there also good cars. Ive had quite a few LTD II's (own one now) and theyve all been awesome cars. My LTD II can still pull 23mpg on the interstate and ride and drive like a cadillac.

They suck in the snow though.

later,
Dustin
