i have a 94 ranger with an a4ld tranny and 10 inches of lift and plan on running a set of 38" tires and i have installed a transgo sk junior shift kit and was wondering if there was anything more i may need to do to keep it from going out due to the tire size

Put the proper gears in your axles, then install an auxiliary trans cooler.

For 38s you'll need a 5.38 ratio (if the axles are stock, then 5.13 is as low as you can go).
