I recieved this last friday from another Ranger owner. I was supposed to take it to the OBX meet, but it didnt come in time :( [not his fault, the canadian post messed up the address] Im buying it from him providing i like it...I freaking love it!!! So Laz, consider it sold...lol. My brother and I set it up yestersay evening to see how hard/easy it was. For the very first time assembling it, not so bad. I didnt have it perfect the first time, so i undid everything and started over and it turned out perfect (I think). hardes part was finding a good mounting place on the frame for the straps. Im going to buy the special air matress that fits around the wheel wells for it and take it camping soon hopefully to a lake or river!

for $220 I could make a few of those from old tents 0_0

How is the quality of the tent though? I have a a few tents and one was almost 500 bucks but it is so well made and waterproof that I will never use the others. The bed tent could be a smoking deal depending how it's made.

I'd buy a cheap cap, and throw a mattress in it, cut a large piece of top of it off, then install a window.... done XD

Got any pics of the inside?

yeah here it is on the guys truck im buying it from:

This is a high quality tent, thats why its pretty expensive. plus it fits like a glove!

roflol wait till those tie down straps start rubbing the crap out of the paint on the side of your truck in a wind storm. no thanks I'd rather have a tent camper to pull behind me. sit it up once and for get it.. if you run out of beer or burger what do you have to do tear it down every time you want to go some were no thanks..

i would never set this up until it was time to sleep anyways, i never spend all day in a tent, only sleeping, too hot for that!

220 really isn't a bad price for a tent, I mean most of the cheap tents you can get at walmart and stuff are like 120, ones specifically made for the back of a truck like that is probably well worth 220

Hey I got one of those, used it a couple of times and love it. Also when I park the truck and set up, I ain't going nowhere cause I don't run out of beer or whatever. Nice thing about this is that I load up my quad in the back when I set out and use that for getting wood or just plain wheeling around.
Sometimes I throw a canoe on top of that, on a rack of course...try doing that with a cap on.

By on top of that I didn't mean the tent lol.

its just a whole lot easier (and CHEAPER!) to get a camper shell and throw a couple blankets down
