I have a 92 xlt 2 wd and was wantimg to know if a bbed same length off a 2000 ranger bolt right up aND fit or do u have to do modifacations

The bodylines will line up... but not be the same. May require some wiring and will look goofy but it should bolt up.

It will bolt on but, like said, will not look right. The shadowlines are different. This pic is of a late 90's flareside box on a 91 ranger;

The flareside as shown above is a best case. It narrows behind the cab, and with a bit of paint/accents can probably be made to look OK. The fleetside inner box (93 and up) is the same as the older fleetside boxes (shortbox = shortbox, longbox=longbox) but the sides tick out more, so there will be an awkward sticking out transit behind the cab. I stuck a 93-94 box on my 91; it bolts up but does lokk kinda different
