Bed bolt locations for a 2002 XLT?

Thanks, 94! That sounds like a plan...

Does anyone know how I can get my truck back to my garage? It's about 1200' away (up the street in front of a neighbor's house). I need to get it down the street, into my driveway and into the garage.

Will starting fluid (or gas in the intake) do it? It might be a problem towing it there.

Did you change the FF? Did you ever add techron to the gas tank? Did you ever do a fuel pressure test on it? If the truck is UP the street cant you roll it home.

mod,

Thanks! No, didn't change the FF yet (I have a new one, though) and I'm going to pickup a fuel gauge at Harbor Freight after work. The truck is pointing the other way (up the street, away from the house) so I'll need to either have it towed or pushed to my garage.

I'll update when I read the pressure and replace the FF.

RangerStation Peeps,

Sorry to resurrect a very old thread but...I have some updated information. Thanks to everyone who posted trying to help! :D

I was able to get the truck started. My neighbor (whose house the truck was parked in front of) came over to talk to me as I was trying various things (banging on the fuel tank, changing out the fuel pump switch, etc.. As he was standing there, I tried turning on the ignition switch (just to the "ON" position, not starting it). I immediately heard the fuel pump prime so I turned the key all the way. The truck fired right up. I said to him "Man, you're good luck!" and drove down the street to my house and parked the truck in the driveway.

I had already bought 2 bottles of Techron, so I added one to the tank and drove to a station to fill it up 3/4 of the way. The truck has been running fine ever since! Maybe there was something stuck in the fuel pump or maybe cold temperatures had something to do with it. BTW, the "el cheapo" fuel pressure guage from Harbor Freight lasted only for a one-time use but did read 58-60 psi while the truck was running. And yes, I did change the fuel filter! :D

Thanks again to everyone for your help. Thank you, too, modelageek!

Joe
