Bed Bars - 09 FX4

Hey all,

I was wondering if anyone could give me a place to start to look for a set of Bed Bars for my truck. I have a tonneau cover I'd like to keep if all possible. Thanks a bunch.

are you talking about like a roll bar (light bar)? with the hoops and the runners down to the wheel wells? i know GO RHINO makes them but expensive. check craigslist for your area

He's talking about bed-rail bars... the ones that extend the length of the bed and sit on the rails... typically chrome?

Typically chrome, but I'm looking for power coated and I'm not a huge fan of the style that runs the length of the bed, just more like an isosceles triangle.

Hey,

I thought you might like something light this.

Its the Go Rhino Lightning series sport bar for a F150 (5330001), "modified" to fit my Ranger. All I did was cut down the center bar from 42 to 34 3/4. I didnt take pics during the build itself, but hopefully what I have are enough (you can see the rest of them in my album). It will need to be painted since it will rust fast.

Dang i have been looking for one of those!

Was wondering how and where you cut that to fit? I will try that but hate to ruin a few hundred bucks if i mess up.... also you havent seen a lund sunvisor that would fit an 08 ranger have you????
