Old post, So you think 289 hp manifolds will fit on a 302 explorer in a ranger ? I have a set of those.

They sure do. I have a set on mine....I also have 3 more sets for sale. 3 different varieties. All the same pass side, but have 3 difficult driver side options.

You will have to make a Y-pipe/H-pipe of some sort. They clear everything by miles on any non GT40P head.

depends on whether 351 or 302 and what specific chassis and how specifically you mount the engine.

there is ttb/tib sla coil 2wd....sla torsion 2wd sla torsion 4x4.

for the most part they are easy with the 302.

if you run burn mounts which are comet ep style with a spacer real low with a cut pan on a ttb you may need to roll the passenger rail a bit and the backset on the drivers side where it is fattest. a 15 in cresent will handle that.

the 90 boot / short plug deal can help.

Mine has basically an explorer Engine in a 4x4 with gt 40 heads, not p heads. It has the angle boots on the plugs.
