Battery Strap/Cover?

Hi all,

I was checking my relatively new-to-me 2004 Edge and noticed that the battery is not strapped down. The battery was obviously replaced by the original owner with a Wal-Mart brand, probably not of the correct dimensions, and I imagine he just left off the straps or cover.

Anyway, I have no idea what the hold down arrangement should look like. Did the truck battery originally have a cover, or a strap of some sort? If anyone has a picture I would appreciate it, as I don't like the idea of driving around with an unrestrained battery.

The battery shouldn't have a strap. It does have a hold down on one of its side. It should be a metal plate or rubber block with one bolt through it on the side of the battery.

mine uses bunjie cables bought it like that and its not moving i need to get that hold down just no money
