Bass heads, need some help.

I love them. I made a box that fits behind the seat and I still have plenty of leg room. They hit as hard as any normal 10" sub (300rms 600peak). I like them way more than the JL 12w6 I used to have crammed in there.

thanks, i think im going to pick one up this summer. i wonder how it would sound with only 150w @12.5v? i think im going to try out a sundown e8 before i try a s-class 10

u can also cut holes under neath the seats and weld up a box underneath and buy a set of airless subs that dont require ports to breath

I think it will sound ok, but it will take so much more why not match it up with a what it capable of?

Most subs are capable of being ing a sealed or ported box, and a metal box wouldn't sound right, stick with 3/4 mdf or fiberglass.

well it will be powered off th rear channels of my 4 channel. so 150w is all i would be able to give it. if i were to cut out the 6x8 enlcosures on the back wall that would give enough room to run the sundown sax100.4 that i want. then id be able to give it 300w.

because if u only set it up for what it is capable of it wont be as loud i have a 91 ford ranger regular cab i have 2 10s runnig off of 1000 pyle amp a 500 sony runnig 2 6X9s and 2 more 6X9 in the doors then i brought the roof down even with the glass and put 4 6.5 over head running off of a 100 watt rockford fosgateamp that why when i turn it up over half way it blurs your vision

inside the boxes

i put them inside the boxes under neath the brethers and hooked up small fans inside to keep them cool and the other two are under neath the seats where they are bolted down

I have 1000 watt memphid amp running 2 memphis 10" subs and thats about all a reg cab ranger can take. It pushes the rear window it about a half inch when they hit.
