That's what I did, he then showed that my product had shipped on his website but 2 weeks later still no product. I asked for a tracking number and got no response, a week later I asked for a refund and still no response. I gave him 60 days to deliver a product and was as nice as I could be.

If he's having that many personal problems, then he needs to put his business on hold. Taking peoples money without providing a product is borderline criminal to me.

I think it crosses over into the criminal category. Sounds like he may be taking orders with no intention of shipping product. Everybody has problems big and small. It doesn't give you the right to take money without sending out your product.

Unfortunatly, nothing. Five e-mails between 12/23 and 1/01 were sent to him. I got nothing back. No product, no tracking number, no response.

So I called up paypal on January 2nd. Told them the whole situation. They opened the dispute back up (because Doug said he would have it to me by christmas if I closed the dispute. Retard me closed the dispute hoping he'd ship it) and its currently at an "escalated" state. Basically, Doug has until January 12, 2010 to respond to paypal giving them a tracking number or returning my money. If he does not respond, they will withdraw the money and return it to me.

Since Doug said previously that he won't ship unless the dispute is closed-and I don't intend on closing out the dispute until it ships-I guess that leaves one option... gimme ma monay!

I've looked into both Fred at Rogueperformance and James at Henson. Both guys seem to know what they're doing with the 4.0L and it takes ONE day to get a response back from them.

I see plenty of good reviews about Doug, but I will never deal with him again. For whatever reason, he needs to either take down his website or inform people that he isn't capable of supplying a product within 7-10 days like he states in his shipping page. I advise anyone else looking for an SCT tuner to hit up both Hensonperformance.com and rogueperformance.com first. As for me, well I don't know who to give my business to. Fred is smart and has worked with rangers a lot. Henson is larger and has more experience tuning, but most of his work is Explorers.

Paypal gave Doug 10 days to repley and he did not. I contacted paypal and 24 hours after the 10 day deadline, I get my money back. In other words, the paypal representative this morning said I should be recieving my money by 5:00pm today. Off to Fred at Rogueperformance I go...

I did notice Doug suspended his sales. But I have no desire to go back. There's a lot of competitors that can match what Doug can do and still be able to talk with you.

I chose Fred because it takes 1 day to get a response from him. 4 out of 4 e-mails I sent him reguarding questions about his abilities or products were replied thoroughly the next day. If I do have a problem, I know I can get it fixed soon. I really didn't want the tuner from Doug because if there were any faults with it, I might be SOL for 6 weeks.

Exactly. The tune he sent me had some serious faults and I was SOL for months.

I think you can only get your money back if he has money in his pp account. Thats sucks though he uses his past history or being good drawning in customers then just fubars them, i wonder how many others this has happened too? Ive been looking at a sct for my ranger, both henson and rouge seem awesome, couldnt go wrong with either. Good luck.

Yep, that's why I went with him. I was worried that my tune wasn't going to be right. It was but I have concerns about the speedo compensation, it's still not right, it's closer than it was but it's still off. I'm going to have James Henson give me a more detailed tune.

Ordered on Thursday, recieved it today. Tomorrow I'm going to flash my PCM and give the PCM some drive time to adapt. I'll post in a new thread what I think in a couple days.
