Even with a good donor, i'd budget $500 minimum to freshen it up. It could be done cheaper, but do you really wanna trust that 100k+ waterpump and plug wires? Or bet on the fact that the PO changed the spark plugs?

Ya i doubt I'll make it to the 500 dollar mark but I bought a 600 dollar truck and I am taking into consideration the stuff I am selling off the F150 and the unused parts from my ranger.

I've got just over a grand, truck and engine. All i have left is to custom fab some headers and find a trans and converter.

I have a drawer full of receipts (all receipts down to bolts i bought). I blew through my budget in about 2 months. I would probably have a heart attack if I actually added everything up. The little things add up fast.
