How many ball joints does a 1998 ford ranger have on each side in the front?

2 on each side. One upper one lower. The uppers are replaced by getting a whole new upper control arm on each side and the lowers can be pressed in and out.
^^yup. coulda just looked under there, but whatev. lol.
