Ball joints

No.

The short one pulls out It is held in with a circlip, like a CV joint. The long one can be pulled apart at the boot without breaking anything.

I guess I should say that I replaced the bronco front end with a Dana 35 out of a 1993 explorer. Does this change anything?

Nope. Same thing, just bigger parts.

You have to take the spindle off the knuckle. That can be a bastard without the adapter and a slide hammer. 6 15mm nuts and a lot of rust hold them to the knuckle.

The short one doesn't matter, I think the long shaft has an odd-ball spline. The spindles can go on however they will fit.
