OH MAN!! This years race is CRAZY! A lot of accidents. A chase chopper went down killing the pilots and injuring 2. A lot of broken bones. Ill keep you guys posted.

As for race specs:

I believe Jessy James is currently 3rd in the Trophy trucks

Here are the trophy truck positions right now

A whole bunch of bikes have already made it through and within the next couple of hours the first 4 wheel trucks will hopefully come through

the race is pretty mellow right now. not to much goin on but some great racing!

just heard that a truck and its chaser got stuck in some mud going around an obsticle on the beach and the tide is coming in real quick. About ready to swallow them up!

3rd it...

I've been popping back at the GPS mapping...I'd like to see a race one of these days, too. They sometimes have snips of Baja racing on Spike TV, but even then it's sporatic and not as televised as NASCAR. Personally, NASCAR bores the crap out of me...

Question: Is there a place that describes the specs and regulations of the trophy trucks, Class 7, buggys, and what not?

I did a quick Google and only small things (nothing too detailed) popped up...
