the badlands has been sold? anyone have an info on this?

Just went to their site and this is what I found on the home page.

To all of our valued customers:

The Badlands has been sold. We trust all our loyal customers to embrace the change. Kyle and Stephanie Knosp, former owners of Paragon Adventure Park, will take over operations April 1st, 2008. Kyle and Stephanie have been longtime friends of ours and business associates. They will be bringing fresh new ideas that will compliment the park to make your experience here even better. This is a good thing, especially for you the customer, because we are sure this change will move the park to the next level. Keep checking back for the list of new things to come in 2008!!!

We want to thank each and every one of you for 12 years of great people and great times. We feel truly blessed to have been a part of your offroad adventures.

From the Heart

Thank You and Ride Safe

Troy and Lisa Myers

Badlands? That's where those guys faces are carved in the mountain? They sold that?

Guess the Iran war is costing more than I thought.

Congrats Bentwrench, you are officially and idiot.
The "badlands" is an offroad park. In Indiana.
Your thinking of the National Monument at Mount Rushmore, something that our nation will/cant sell. Those "guys" happen to be former presidents.
Also, i do believe its the Iraq war.
There are badlands in North Dakota though. Except its more of a geographical description.
K, thanks.

The owners of Paragon is that the one In Hazelton PA they got bought because they want to put an airport there. Is that the same place you are talking about blackbetty

As Jim Rome would say, "Claahhssic".

Hazelton is where the mayor was trying to chase all the illegals out, so they probably don't have anyone to work there.

Then again ... there are the real Badlands in SD and ND that I grew up dicking around in on foot.

From my college friends that came back for Spring break way back when ... where are we? We're on the "res" yoh!

They were the owners of the former Paragon AP in Hazleton. They were "kicked out" because of political bs. The airport is just an excuse to fill something with river dredge, and fly ash. Those polititical figures get well paid to take this crap and dump it into the community. The airport is supposed to boost economy, but i dont think people realize how loud cargo planes are when they are a couple hundred feet over your head.
Sorry for ranting.
