Bad transmission leak, need ideas on troubleshooting

I have a 1992 3.0L with a 5 speed that says f27a ua on the side. It is leaking from the split between the gear box and the tail shaft section at the cross member. I have taken it apart twice to fix the leak, once with black rtv, the second time with a home made gasket and rtv. It seems to be getting worse. It only leaks after it is driven, after it cools it stops. Does anyone know what could be causing this, i have read something about 3 rubber plugs, but I cant find anything for sure. Any help would be appreciated!

if its what im thinking the 3 rubber plugs are, then its shift rail plugs that get replaced with metal ones.

Take the shifter boot off and you will be able to see if they are leaking.
