obviously i cant tell you its a thunk, or a crunch, or a tap tap sound and you tell me what it is, but i'm having a repetitive sound from the front right aread on my b2. i do think i'm getting it in 2wd as well as 4wd, and usually when the suspension is flexing a bit, its not a brake line hitting the spring but thats what it sounds like. i was thinking maybe the hub, but it isn't constant and it does it in 2 and 4wd. any thoughts of things to check?

also didn't seem to make a difference if the wheel is cut to the left or right, happens on hard whoops and bumps and the like

check your radius arm bushings.

lift it up by the frame and start prying around on things till you see somthing that dont look right because it aint. Or take it to a frame shop and ask for a safety inspection they will tell you what it needs. Replace the parts then give them the alignment work is what I do if they want money for the inspection do not let them align it has been my personal experience

Once you have it in the air check both sides you can usually see what is wrong with the tire hanging and someone muscleing the tire around while your under there with a light sounds like a upper ball joint to me and new bushings all the way around never hurts either.

i was thinking the radius arm bushings, but they "look" good.. should they wiggle with the tires are off the ground?

if it's an auto, have somebody start it up while you look at the radius arms, have them hold the brake pedal down gently and shift it between forwards and reverse to put some torque on the wheels, watch the radius arms to see if they move up and down in the bucket.

they should not move at all.
