so i screwed up the tranny in my 3.0 1994 ranger, went to the junkyard, got one that they said was the right one for a 1994 3.0 ranger with 4x4, i go to put the new one in, the transfor case went on fine, the imput shaft slid in fine, but the blot pattern is slightly different, and my original bolts wont fit through the hole on the new one, any idea what happened?

how different is the bellhousing?

How many bolts to mount the starter?

which SIDE is the starter on?

Got PICs?

the starter is on the drivers side on both, the new one doesnt have two of the bolt holes, and on the old tranny there are 4 bolts across teh top of the trasnny going IN to the engine block, and one on the lower right of the tranny
