Well, for my birthday my girlfriend decided to take me to see the Monster Nationals show in Madison, Wisconsin today. This was her first time seeing the Monster Trucks so she was really gettin into it (especially since one of the drivers was a woman). Well, in the second half of the show during the truck races, a tragedy happened. The announcer (who's name I do not know) was hit/ran over by a monster truck. I do not know if this was a fatal yet, but my heart goes out to this man, his family, and the driver of the monster truck. This was truely nobodies fault. I will not describe what happened (I don't think its respectful) but I will tell you silence and sadness swept through the audience.

As most of you consider yourselves die-hard gearheads, we all share a common hobby with these fine men. Please take a quick moment for this man, his family, and the staff whom he works with (who I'm sure are a second family)

that's crazy up here in Washington we just had a accident where a lil boy died who was with his parents who were attending the Tacoma show. I dunno it makes me sick to think about it... God rest there souls and the families who endured the worst.
