bad mileage on a 00 2wd

I just bought a 2000 2wd ranger with the 3.0. It has 85k on it. I just checked the mileage this week. I got 311 miles on 16.8 gallons. The equates to around 19mpg. Does that sould right? I thought it sounded a little low. I drive 50/50 highway/city. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks guys.

That's perfectly normal.

I'm getting about 12-13 at the moment.

my dodge is almost stock and its getting around 11. and 8-9 when i got a trailer.. thats why i got the b2!

I just checked the mileage this week. The equates to around 19mpg. guys.

Check it for several weeks. Mine runs between 19 and 22. Long term average about 20mpg. As said, yours sounds normal.
