So I have had my 02 Ranger 3.0L in the shop 3 times for CEL. Ford finally said bad fuel pump only putting out 40psi. I have found several posts with varying psi specs. so I’m looking for some help. CEL lights stays on. Computer diag. gives me a “lean on banks 1 & 2”. Truck will sometimes bog down upon quick acceleration. Any help appreciated. Thanks in advance.

That could definitely do it. Fuel injector flow is linked to pressure. 64 +/-8psi for gasoline engines, 55psi +/-8 ps for FFV KOER.

When was the last time you changed the fuel filter?

I think the 3.0 spec is 60 psi
