Sry if this is the wrong place to post this guys but i just recently baught a 98 ranger and have had a few problems with it starting with both rear leaf springs having broken leaves, after fixing them the vacuum hubs quit working as expected so i took the metal clip out of the hub assembly and its been like that for about 3 weeks now and it seemed to work fine but recently i have noticed a vibration sound coming from my front end my initial reaction was the wheel bearings but i only had one bad bearing and after replacing it the sound is still there and im begining to be able to feel it vibrate the floor. My question is what do you guys think the problem is? i did notice that the noise seems to stop when i turn the wheel to the right even just slightly. the ball joints seem tight as do the tie rod ends im lost so any help would be greatly appreciated.

my guess would be the rotors, they might be rubbing on something, try jacking up the front of your truck and spinning the wheels and see if you can find it that way, oh and i would check your rims when was the last time you had those tires balanced, the weights they attached may hav fallen off

the brakes are brand new and the tires are too but i will check to see if the weights are still on the rims

thanks

It looks like the weights are still on the rims and another thing is the noise is there even when im going like 15 mph wich doesnt seem like a fast enough speed to be making the noise because of unbalanced tires, i checked the differential fluid and that was full 2! i am at a loss here guys:annoyed:

when i took the hubs apart there was a little water in them so i did clean and repack them and they are helt on by plastic clips which i thaught was ridiculous but they are together the same way they came apart
