Bad Fram Fuel Filter

My daughter buys Fram oil filters and Valvoline 5w30 for her '06 Corolla. 150k miles so far. I told her all the bad stories about Fram quality. She buys them at Walmart. I dont use them because store brand filters and oil gave me 200K more trouble free miles to my 150 kmile BMW. I have clogged plenty of fuel filters over time. Auto Zone store brand. I dont think I have ever had an oil filter malfunction on anything. I change them every so often. Same with fuel and air filters too. The fuel filter on the 94 , 4.0 is about the same size as the filter on my BMW

Andy.....Valvoline keeps the engine clean.....been using it for a few decades....(I used quaker state in the early '70s........that oil was worse than cane syrup for gunking up an engine)

I use 10W-30 Valvoline exclusively in the Mustang. It is great oil.

On my F150 and Escape I use the Motorcraft (Semi-Synthetic) 5W-20 or Valvoline 5W-20 if it's on sale.

Oh.... and I fork over the extra 30 cents for the Motorcraft filter too.
