backup lights Quit Working

Actually, when I pulled off that connector. It's thend leading to the vehicle away from the transmission and I have around 1-2 feet wire I can work with.

I'm gonna check Spaldings to see if I can find that harness.

SOLVED.
It was definitely that wire on the connector, cut it put a new connector on it Crimped it, and now my reverse lights work again !!

Thanks for the update/resolution.

As for closing this thread? Nope. It will be here for all eternity for others to learn from. And for still others to resuscitate it 10 years from now, when nobody’s paying attention and ask some question that has already been answered earlier in the thread…

Oh, 😂.

By the way is there a way what the other wires would be in that diagram on that connector, I had two damaged wires in total.

Trying to figure out what other wire it was and where it went.

I apologize but what do you mean by split the circuit and where.do I check continuity ?

I wish I had a power probe but I don't

Well, I made Good progress. I think this may be my problem. I haven't tried to see if I have power out but I verified power In.

I guess the 12v input wire just didn't get affected but the other wires did.

I need to find this connector and solder it on.
Where exactly is that wire/connector located. I want to check it on my truck because my reverse lights don't work and I've tried other things already. Also, where did you find the new connector?
