an under-drive pulley and e-fan.....how much will a 3.0 gain?
anyone done it?

Those are both hotly contested mods here. Some people say they're not worth the money, and do nothing at all. I'm sure some of them will chime in here. Others, mostly those who have installed the mods you've mentioned, say the 3.0 benefits from these mods, and are very happy with the results.

I installed my pullies and e-fan at the same time, and felt a difference, but it wasn't earth changing, just a noticeable increase in revability, and it seemed to pull harder. Engine compartment was much quieter as an added bonus.

If you do a little searching here, you'll find plenty of threads, where both sides of the argument are discussed. I'd suggest you read them, and form your own opinion.

I have both mods and highly recommend them. As stated, the mods quiet things down a bit and free up a small, but noticeable amount of power and improve fuel economy. The 3.0 needs all the help it can get and these two mods do wonders for the overall drivability of this engine.

Start out with the U/D crank pulley, it's the best bang for the buck out there. The e-fan is just icing on the cake. Mine doesn't kick on 6 months out of the year.

can i ask you 2 what elce you have done for more power?

I removed the air silencer--I didn't notice a power increase, only a louder/better sounding intake noise at 3k-up and WOT. The work to the TB did slightly improve throttle response, but it didn't make any noticeable improvements anywhere else. The 180 t-stat was installed due to pinging issues, it wasn't installed with power in mind. However by eliminating pinging, the engine ran much smoother and slightly stronger.

The biggest gains to date are from the e-fan/pulley combo.

I've currently got the 4 piece underdrive pulley set, an MAC intake, Gibson exhaust, and an e-fan. But I'm prepping for the install of my whipple supercharger, ported and polished lower intake, and ceramic coated JBA headers. I'm hoping for good things from the supercharger/headers combo.

will the 3.0 stand up to a supper charger? and how much you think that will run?

Yep! (provided the rest of the engine is healthy enough to support it) The whipple kit I own was actually developed specifically for the 3.0 ranger with Ford's help, and sold through Ford Racing. It was 50 states emissions legal, and wouldn't void the factory warranty. They usually produce around 10 lbs of boost. I've heard of people running smaller pullies and as much as 20lbs of boost for short periods, but rod bolts start to stretch when you get into those numbers. I'm shooting for 10-12lbs with a smaller pulley.
I'd be happy with 220-240 hp, and maybe 250-270 lbs/ft with my planned setup. Anything more than that and I'm thrilled. I'm planning on running the truck on e-85, which I haven't seen done yet, so it's kind of uncharted territory. The whipple on an otherwise stock motor usually produced around 190-215 whp and similar torque numbers, but that all depends on the quality of the tune. There's a full kit for sale right now on another Ranger forum that made 315 lbs ft @ the rear wheels!
