And even if he is lying what does he gain by saying "OMG i was robbed" on here? What would be the point of fabricating story? to make us feel bad for him, thats about it? so unless he is REALLY insecure about himself and it makes him feel better to be felt sorry for by dong this stuff... well then we are still helpng him out.

And to answer the question is probably caus he DIDN'T TOUCH anything else! He put the 4x4 switch back inplace and obviouly didn't feel the need to mess with the heat. the non broken/cut plugs are a little suspicious I'll give ya that.... but seriously if you just got jacked and posted it up and I was like well its really suspicious you didn't switch to defrost after you got jacked I call BS. You waould feel a bit upset too.

And he said someone else in the complex saw it not him. and he probaby took pic before the cops showed then later in the day for better pics after he had already messed with it. o and for the pics... UR A DUMB A$$! They both have the same date! The day can still be the 7th wheather its 6 am 6 pm noon whatever its still the 7th! and he probably got jacked at 6am on the 7th and then took pics later in the day (still the 7th) when he got up and hear and saw what happened. now if it was still dark out and the camera had time of day too and he had pics t 6 am I oul completely agree with you... but please grow a brain before you B*#&H someone out.

I'm not bitching him out, whether he made up the story or not is on him. This is the internet where anything can be said, whether you believe it or not is up to you. I for one, do not. Simple as that.

Alright, i just hate it when people get bitched out when something realy did happen to them. I am lening more to believing him just cause its happened to me but luckly they were curtious enough to make sure the door was unlocked when it happened to me and stuff...

yeah my bad too i get overly annoyed sometimes... as or writing too much yeah... i got on a roll. (working on college papers for finals will do that)

They were taken at different times of the day, yet you said it happened around 6 AM, and the photos all have the same date...?

Here's a question for you, why is the BLUE wire connector in the same position in the first picture as the second picture? In both pictures its pointing towards the passenger side. Vents are in the same position, HVAC controls are in the same position, yet, one pic has the 4x4 switch and one doesn't. They even took the time to nicely unplug it for you.

The rest of you may buy his story, but I sure as hell don't.

I knew the cops werent going to do anything when I saw it and I knew my insurrance didnt cover it........so I didnt care about tampereing with it......I took the pics after going through it all......how come you didnt count how many pieces or glass where in each picture?

Like I said.....I didnt care about a report....I know im not getting it back. So I didnt care about messing with it. Those of you that are shooting me down are trying WAY TOO HARD to be like CSI's. The reason I posted this thread was just to do it. I dont need sympathy of people I dont even know. I just thought that other Ranger owners would want to know about what happened to mine. THAT ALL.

i apologize too. i think we all tend to "jump on the band wagon" sometimes and things may get out of control. as for mr.anger, that sux and i hope that you rebuild with bigger better and more secured equipment. i hope we all didnt make you want to not post anything on here again cuz i really enjoy reading what everyone has to say and i think everyone else here pretty much feels the same way! so cheers man, id buy you a beer, but, u know....

OK!!! SO YOU ALL KNOW!! I was told by another person here in the complex that there was someone walking around my truck at 6AM in the morning and a van parked in front of my truck. I was told it was a heavy set mexican guy. I came out to my truck at 1pm later that day...to find my truck in this condition.

I thought you said no one saw anything?

This was in a packed apartmet complex and not one person saw anything? YEAH RIGHT!! Thats Sacramento for ya!!!

I've seen rims stolen just by jacking up a car, placing 20oz bottles filled with water under the axle, and letting the car sit like that. If it's a seasoned thief, he/she can probably disconnect everything in a matter of minutes.

And yes, a capped 20oz bottle filled with water can hold up a side of a car.

Unplugging stuff is pretty simple and alot easier than trying to just yank everything out and I'm sure i could unplug everything from my stereo just as fast as i could cut the wires. And im not a thief for a living. They usually know what they are doing.

I read thru this a couple of times and yeah somethings don't sound right. Perhaps he set it up and got caught in his own lie, but who knows somebody could have actually take his stuff.

I think it would be best to close this thread before it gets way out of hand even more. Mods should close it now and avoid of having to close later and give people warnings about thier posts.

I think it's already reached it's climax and it is slowly falling to it's demise. Myself and a few others already apologized, I think he may deserve a few more but that's not my place to say. Honestly after all that his story adds up and doesn't sound as bogus as many of us originally thought. I think this thread will die on it's own.

its easy to tell the pics were taken at diffrent times. look at the two pics posted by toms look at the sun on the dash. in the one with the graduation tassle the sun is not near the stereo but the other one the sun is shining right on it.

Yeah I didnt get the screen shot either. But this is all done and over with. Im not mad at the people who think I set this up...because I know I didnt. I cleaned up the mess and am having a pretty nice alarm put in this weekend. I never meant for all of this to escalate like it did....I was just simply tellin other ranger owners about what happened to mine.

But im not going to let this thread keep me from posting more.
