B4000/Ranger Bed fitting

im planning on changing my bed on my b4000 2002 to may be a Ranger one by the same years. Ive looked on the technical articles and it seemed to be easy bolt on transfer BUT, im wondering if the GAs pipe that connect to the tank from the fuel door is the same between the 2 models, since the mazda bed is a bit less offset.

Any clue?

I used to have a b 4000 and also looked at ranger beds. I found that the wheel arch is quite different. Do not know about the gas filler pipe. I suggest you park next to a ranger and match them up or ask the same question on the ranger site.

Mazda bed is called a styleside. It uses the same filler tube as the regular 6ft Ranger bed and fits the same to either truck.

Ranger 7ft bed uses extended filler tube.
Ranger stepside 6ft bed uses shorted filler tube and shorter tail light harness.
Ranger full size 6ft and Mazda 6ft styleside bed use the same filler tube.

All beds mount up the same 6ft with 6ft and 7ft with 7ft. I have a 1998 Mazda bed on one of my 1997 Extended cabs. Fits perfect.

why would the 7ft bed use a longer filler tube? Its fuel door is located in the same area adjacent to the fuel tank then that of the 6ft bed. Plus Auto zone & O'reillys don't list any difference.

I finally found a mazda bed not rusted out so that was a simple swap. So weird that there is no aftermarket tailight for the bseries/stx bed...
