B4000 lift question

I wanted to build a pre runner out of my B4000 but just can't justify the cost, since there is no where to really use it where I live.
I was thinking about doing the Ready Lift leveling kit and a 2" body lift. If I am reading it right that will give me around 4" in the front and 2" in the rear, right? What size tire could I fit? If I ran flared fenders and bedsides, what tire size can I run?

dont bother with the ready lift kit, just crank your stock torsion keys (then get an alignment). you can get blocks, extended shackles or an add a leaf for the rear (will get you the 2" in the rear youre looking for). as for the body lift, you may not need it. how big of a tire are you looking to run?

the front was to level, and the body lift was to get the extra height front and rear. I am thinking about running 33" to 35" tires (35's with the fiberglass fenders/bedsides).

the keys youd get with a ready lift kit dont give you any more lift than youd get with stock keys. simply jack up the front end, support the frame on jack stands (leaving the suspension to hang loose but not touching the ground) and tighten the bolts in your factory torsion keys. as mentioned, with a t-bar crank and body lift, 33's are right up your alley, be sure to regear though. and dont forget to post pics!

Since I am new to the whole Ranger/B4000 scene, where is the best place to get gears for our trucks?

trs parts and fab is a pretty good resource, prices are usually the best i find too. other wise summitracing.com will be a good place to look.

Don't worry about changing gears until you get tires, see if you really want to spend the money on them first. My buddy ran his 95 with 3.73s and 38" Swampers for quite a while.

I have some 31.5" firestone mud tires on a project Bronco that I will start after completion of the Mazda so for now I am going to get some rims to mount them on the B4000. I will mount the 2" body lift and crank the tortions to level first, once I get the gears and swap them I will go from there. I am bouncing between the long travel and a SAS but haven't made a list to weigh the cost/benefit of each and go from there.
