So my story goes, I have a 2006 Mazda B3000 Dual Sport ( similar as the Edge, right?). 3L, 5 speed. I like doing a bit of gravel drifting and rally style driving and would like to tighten up the ride (mostly body roll). Gaining a lower ride height would be nice too. From what I gather so far, swapping to explorer sway bars and torsion bars. Removing the rear leaf spring spacer block and installing a lowering key on the torsion bar. Shave / replace the bottom out bumpers and install shorter shocks. Also there may be a good chance that I would have to replace some of the front control components to adjustable ones. To achieve proper handling, tire wear and alignment. I don't want to pour money into this (under $500 all said and done), but I have lots of time, like doing my own work and learning. This is my first auto project. What I hoping for is some feed back on, what mods / parts will give me the best bang for my buck. This is my daily driver and light hauler (under 600lbs, usually 300lbs). If just about every panel didn't have damage, I'd just sell it and get something with a normal 2x4 coil front end. And make this whole deal easier.
