b2300 extended cab?

Hey guys,

The other day I saw what looked like a later model mazda b2300 with the extended cab configuration here in Canada. I did some quick research and it appears the 2.3l only came in a regular cab configuration. Whats going on here? does anybody know if/when it was possible to get an extended cab with the 4cyl engine?

As far as I know, they offered the Lima 2.3L and 2.5L in an extended cab, but not the Duratec 2.3L.

So, any 4 cylinder/extended cab Ranger is 2001.5 or older. If it's newer than that, or if it's got a Duratec 2.3L, it's custom.

Yes, you could get the Lima 2.3 in extended cabs but ONLY in 2wd trucks. The only exception to this rule is the hand full of 1986 (first year for the extended cab option) trucks that were produced with the 2.3 4wd extended cab combo.

You can get an extended cab b2300 with the duratec up to 2010, just have to look for it, the ranger XL too was offered with that configuration, just 2wd trucks
