alright i need some help i have a 84 bronco ii and need to know what will have to be replaced for a v8 conversion right now its completely stock and has the original 2.8 5 speed and one of the main questions will a 302 bolt to my original 5 speed tranny? and will my t-case and rear end take the abuse of a 302? i dont use the 4x4 much so im thinking the front axle will be ok and will i have to get a new radiator i know i have to get new motor mounts thats about it this will bw the first time of me doing a motor swap so suggetions are welcome about the best way of doing this. another thing is if my tranny wont bolt up or wont take the abuse would a older 4 speed fit under the bronco with no lift or modification or will i 5 speed from a f-150 fit?

thanks for all the suggestions:icon_thumby:

The trans will puke when you lower the 302 in the engine bay, wont work anyway.
You will need a bigger Rad.
Check the Tech section on the swap........lotta great stuff there!

thanks! for the reply and ill check out the tech sectoin

I am running a 1997 Explorer v6 radiator w/ Taurus cooling fans. It runs in the upper 180's... even in 100+ degree heat
