K my 8.8 perches showed up. Don't really have a good way to measure my current pinion angle. Anyone know the stock pinion angle? I seem to recall 6*. If I were to put a level on the flange to make it perpendicular to the ground the perches would be down on the flange side and up on the cover side, correct?

best is to put it in the truck and point it toward the t-case output especially if you have a lift, then tac weld it in the truck, pull it out and run a full weld. thats how i would do it

Can't do that. My welder isn't at my parents house(no 220V) where my B2 is/where I'm doing the swap and I can't drive the B2, that's why I need to know. And pointing it at the t-case is a nono without a dual cardan shaft.

Really depends on if you have a double cardan or single u-joint shaft. Put it under the rig, get an angle finder from HF, set the angle, tack the perches with your 110 welder. Pull the axle, take it to your big welder.

The stock angle on the 7.5 was ~15*, so I welded up the perches yesterday, just have to do shock mounts and install the gears.
