Hi. It is posible to replace the pivot bushings w/out removing the beans of the car ?
I mean only removing the pivot bolt and pulling down the bean from one end .
My Ranger is a 1997 4x4
Thanks

its possible, but it sucks.

You can certainly do it, but like bobbywalter said, it definitely brings the suck. If I was forced to do it that way (I always tear them down), I would use a bottle jack to pivot the beam down and then a ball joint "C" tool to press the rubber out. Use the OEM sleeve and replacement bushings from wherever (James Duff makes some nice ones). and reinstall.

I've done it this way twice. I didn't really think it was a PITA. Both trucks had suspension lifts on them though, so maybe that has something to do with it?
