Got my fuel pump changed out. Now my truck starts right up! (:
It was a B*tch to do! haha, 5 hours! I wish i would have taken pictures but i just wanted to get it done... :thefinger:

I've seen people just cut a square in the floor right above the sending unit. I have also done this as well when my truck was not getting fuel and i did not want drop the tank again. Pain the first time when it was leaking. The skid plate bolts had to be drilled out because i did not want to get the grinder that close to leaking fuel.

EDIT: did not realize you have a ranger and not a bII. but im sure it was a still the same pain

I dont know why more people dont make a hatch it so easy, especially if you find a wrecked bed and cut out a piece an inch bigger than the hole in your bed. The profile fits sweet and use panhead screws so they dont get in the way.

I had a mac air drill so the bolts wernt a problem. (: Just doing it by youre self is a pain.

I'm not following, did you take the bed off to do it? Or did you drop the tank?

pulling the bed is by far the easiest way...

I've got an access panel in my B2. 10 min fuel pump changes.

I pulled the bed off my splash and I changed the pump and screen and the filter in 2 hrs, u must have droped the tank!
