hey, i was wondering if anyone on here has any info on AWD explorers. mainly lookin for info like front diff type/numbers, did they come with a manual, or are they all auto, ect. thanks

they are all automatic with a 60/40 torque split in the transfercase. they use the same front axle as all of the other explorers, which is btw a dana 35 pig with standard rotation gears. the trans is the 4r70w (good strong tranny imo) the biggest drawback to them is the transfercase. i forget which one is the one you can swap in to make it a 4wd i think its in the tech section
