I am thinking about buying a 1997 AWD Ford explorer with the 5.0L V8, but I would only want if I can eliminate the AWD transfer case.
So does anyone know what T-cases bolt to the stock 5.0L and what I assume is a 4R70W?
If there is not an easy option, are there any electrical issues that would prevent me from connecting a C4/D20 to the explorer V8? Other than losing the stock speedometer?
