Was wondering if anyone has had experience installing a backup camera on your ranger. Was considering running a wire to the battery, camera does come with a long enough wire to do that. But was hoping for a shorter run or maybe something located in the rear of the truck. The fuse panel in the cab is an option I suppose but I'm unclear with fuse I could use safely.

Cigarette lighter power wire if you want constant power, radio circuit if you only want power with ignition on. Backup cams don't use much power so there's no issue adding it to an existing fuse. You'll still need to tap into the reverse light wire at the back of the truck for the signal on power.
