automatic to manual transmission

I currently have a 1990 ford ranger supercab 4x4 with a a4ld transmission, with the electric shift transfer case, 4.0 v6. i would like to know if a 5 speed tranny and a manual shift transfer case would bolt on to my 4.0, the truck that has the manual tranny in it is a 1989 ford ranger 4x4 with a 2.9 v6

YES. Their is an FAQ and/or tech article on this site about tranny swapping and you can check out my Ranger 4x4 conversion in the Project vehicle section and my postings here in Transmissions and transfer case sections. I've learned ALOT from this site and doing my swap!
